By accessing or using Deca Coach, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What Deca Coach is

Deca Coach is an AI-powered tool for analyzing biomechanics in decathlon training videos. It provides automated feedback to help athletes and coaches identify areas for improvement.

Deca Coach is not a substitute for professional coaching, medical advice, or sports medicine. Always consult a qualified coach or medical professional for serious training and health decisions.

Acceptable use

By using Deca Coach, you agree to:

• Use the service for legitimate athletic training and coaching purposes.
• Only upload content you have the right to upload — videos of yourself, athletes you coach, or others who have given you their permission.
• Not use Deca Coach for harassment, illegal activity, or to harm others in any way.
• Not attempt to break, hack, reverse-engineer, or otherwise abuse the service or its underlying systems.
• Not share your account credentials with others or attempt to access other users' data.

Your content

• You retain full ownership of all videos and content you upload.
• You grant Deca Coach a limited, revocable license to process your content solely to provide the analysis service.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content, particularly videos featuring third parties.
• You can delete your content and account at any time. Once deleted, we will remove your data from our systems within 30 days.

Pricing, payments, and refunds

Deca Coach charges CHF 1.00 per session. A “session” is a single AI-generated biomechanical analysis of one event you upload (sprint start, vmax, hurdles, long jump, high jump, pole vault, shot put, discus, or javelin). Each session you start consumes one analysis.

Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Limited. By making a payment, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service. Stripe handles all card data directly — Deca Coach never sees or stores your full card details. Applicable taxes (such as Swiss VAT or EU VAT for consumers) are calculated and added at checkout where required.

Refunds

Each paid session purchases an immediate, one-time analysis. Because the AI analysis is delivered immediately upon payment and is consumed digitally, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:

• By purchasing a session and proceeding with the analysis, you waive your right of withdrawal under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m)) for that specific transaction.
• If you experience a technical failure that prevents the analysis from being generated, contact us at support@deca.coach within 14 days. We will either retry the analysis at no additional charge or issue a full refund.
• For any other refund request, contact us within 14 days of purchase. We review these case by case and aim to be fair.

Pricing changes

We may update pricing in the future. Any change will be communicated clearly on this site at least 14 days in advance and will only apply to sessions purchased after the change takes effect.

AI analysis disclaimer

• All analysis is generated by artificial intelligence and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or hallucinations.
• Analysis output should not be the sole basis for training decisions, technique changes, or medical decisions.
• Always consult with a qualified coach before making significant changes to training or technique based on Deca Coach feedback.
• We are not liable for outcomes — including injuries, performance issues, or competitive results — resulting from following AI suggestions.

Account responsibility

You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Do not share your magic link or allow others to access your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us immediately at support@deca.coach.

Intellectual property

• The Deca Coach name, branding, code, and design are owned by us.
• AI analysis output is licensed for your personal use.
• You may not copy, distribute, or commercialize Deca Coach's code, design, or proprietary content without permission.

Limitations of liability

Deca Coach is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the fees you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

Termination

You may stop using Deca Coach at any time and delete your account from your profile settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Zurich, Switzerland. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you also retain the protections of the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of Deca Coach after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
